On March 5, 2024, Dr. Yan Ge (a Principal Investigator at the ICGEB China RRC), was awarded the honorific title of “March 8th Red Flag Carrier in Gaoxin (Gaogang) District” (an award for women who have made significant contributions to the society). At the gala celebrating International Women’s Day 2024 (an event organized the Women’s Federation in Gaoxin/Gaogang District), Yan Ge gave a live speech about her experiences in science and teaching and about the missions of the ICGEB China RRC.

On March 5, 2024, a team of police officers (who were awarded the “March 8th Red Flag Carrier” honorific title) from the Immigration Department of Gaoxin (Gaogang) District visited the ICGEB China RRC and had a meeting with Dr. Yan Ge and other representatives of the RRC, celebrating International Women’s Day.
