On July 27th, a delegation of Dr. Michel Sidibé, Special Envoy of the African Union and the Head of the African Medicines Agency, the Former Executive Director of UNAIDS and Under Secretary General of the United Nations, the Former Minister of Health and Social Affairs of Mali, came to ICGEB China Regional Research Centre for communication and exchanges.
Dr. Ge Yan, the principal investigator of the centre, welcomed the visiting delegation and gave a detailed introduction to the construction and major achievements of the centre. The delegation listened carefully to the progress of center's work in international seminars, technical forums, overseas visits and exchanges, publication of journals, the transformation of technological achievements.
Dr. Michel Sidibé said that the centre should continue to play a good role as a bridge for international cooperation, adhere to the combination of innovation and industrialization, promote global sustainable development and jointly explore the way of cooperation in the future.
