Since June 2022, Scientific faculty at the International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology China Regional Research Centre (ICGEB RRC), Taizhou, China. 2020-2022, Assistant researcher at the Institute of Cardiovascular Disease, Nanjing University Affiliated Drum Tower Hospital. 2016-2019: Postdoctoral fellow at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center, Albuquerque, USA. 2015: Assistant researcher at Suzhou Institute of Systems Medicine, Suzhou, China. 2009-2015: PhD student at the Institute for Molecular Medicine Finland (FIMM), University of Helsinki.
Scientific Activity
Research interests: (i) Mechanisms of ER stress-induced autophagy, signaling pathways involved in the induction of autophagy by ER stress; (ii) Mechanisms of senescence induced by ER stress, and the development of novel anti-aging strategies.
Responsible for the high-content imaging platform at the Center for Autophagy, Inflammation and Metabolism (AIM Center), University of New Mexico, during my postdoctoral period; attending several international biomedical research conferences.
Teaching activity
Mentoring interns for their undergraduate theses at Taizhou; co-mentoring graduate students from China Pharmaceutical University, Nanjing.
